Costal Credit Union
Director, Strategic programs

Everyone’s economic and life situation is unique, and I keep that in mind when providing financial advice.  I believe that personalized service and trust is essential when assisting each individual with the right financial products and services.  As a caring advisor, I am dedicated to learning about the goals of those I help.  I believe together we will use those goals to build a financial plan focused on their specific needs

At Coastal Credit Union I manage major projects and initiatives that push the credit union forward in its mission to help each of our members with a lifetime of financial solutions one experience at a time.  For the last 6 years I managed our Community Engagement Team.  I have over 21 years of experience in the financial world having worked as an Employee Benefits Trust Officer, Banking Center Manager, Cross Border Manager and a Regional Marketing Advisor.  In many of those roles, I developed a love for financial education.  My passion for educating individuals on how to be successful financially has helped shape my positions at Coastal.

I graduated from Elon University with a major in Accounting and a minor in Business Administration.  I am the Immediate Past Board Co-Chair for the North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence.  I serve currently as the secretary for Landing at Neuse Crossing Homeowner Association.   I am the Co-Chair to the Crosby Advocacy Group of Southeast Raleigh.  I am an active member of the Elon University Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Elon Phoenix Club, Presidents Black Life Advisory Council and Black Alumni Network. I was inducted into the 2011 Sports Hall of Fame class of Elon University for the four years I played volleyball. I still enjoy playing and coaching volleyball, playing softball and developing my golf game.  I currently help run Jammers Volleyball Club in Durham, NC.    I am a native of Waynesboro, VA and currently reside in Raleigh, NC.
