Aisha is a Los Angeles native who recently joined the American Underground team as Director of Partnerships, focusing on creating connections between corporate, startup, and community companies and organizations. Previously, she managed two programs at Code2040, a Bay Area based nonprofit that supports Black and Latinx students and entrepreneurs in the tech industry. Prior to Code2040, Aisha worked during the startup phase of LivelyHoods, a social business in Nairobi, Kenya that creates sales jobs for youth in developing urban markets. She also worked for Homeboy Recycling, a Los Angeles based company that provides highly skilled work for previously incarcerated people via environmental responsibility. Aisha earned her degree from the University of Southern California where she graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration.
